Bangkok, the capital of Thailand is the most famous tourist’s destination which is famous for its gleaming temples, floating markets, and its local street food. The city is known worldwide for ornate shrines along with its vibrant street life. Bangkok has proved to be a true tourist paradise as the number of travelers visiting is growing in each coming year. I also have got a chance to see the beautiful tourist place and explore this beautiful city. This month, I was invited on a fam trip by TAT (Tourism Authority of Thailand) New Delhi and Nokscoot Airlines.

Day 1
This beautiful journey started on the 22nd of January 2019. We have to reach the airport three hours before the departure for international flights. So, I departed from my home (Karnal) at 8:00 PM on the 22nd night via Karnal-Panipat-Sonipat-Delhi route. At, 12:00 AM, I reached the Indira Gandhi International Airport T3. I was on time, as my flight was at 2:55 AM. After, I reached the airport, I checked in my bag and then finally moved towards the immigration and security checks. After I reached for the immigration, I found that the queue was too full and I have to wait for two hours in the queue for my turn for the immigration. Finally, after a long wait, my turn came, I have my immigration done and finally move towards the security check which is just competed in 15-20 minutes.

After, my immigration and security check, I move towards the boarding gate. I was on time, as the boarding time was 2:30 AM. Finallyyyyyyyy!!!!! I boarded. But, the flight was little delayed. And, then we (FAM Group) finally departed by flight XW305 at 3:30 AM. I have my seat in the economic class in the flight. After the flight takes off, the crew members served us our meals. It was so tasty and delicious. After, completing our meals, we did some rest as we were so tired. Then, at around 7:40 AM (9:10 AM Bangkok Time), we finally reached the Don Mueang International Airport, and then we move towards the immigration and security checks. Here, also the queue was too full. We had a VIP member with us, so we just broke the queue and our immigration process is completed in just 5 minutes. After, then we filled our visa form and the visa process also gets completed in just 5 minute due to the VIP treatment, and then, we finally take our sim cards.
Then, we finally left for the Hotel, The Mercure Bangkok Sukhumvit 11 which is 23 kilometers away from the Don Mueang International Airport. It takes about 1 hour from the Don Mueang International Airport to reach the hotel. After, arriving at our hotel we did check in. The check-in process was so easy and the hotelier just completed the process in a few minutes. Then, we have our breakfast. And, finally reached my room and take rest for one hour as we have to leave for the Lumphini Park ( Lumphini Park is a beautiful park which offers open public space, trees, and playground along with this, the park also contains an artificial lake where visitors can rent boats. The park is named after the name of Buddha. It is a multipurpose park for various activities. The park contains a King Rama VI statue along with this it also contains a Smiling Sun Ground for the disabled person, Bangkok Elder Citizens Club for the senior citizens, Home of Hope for homeless children) to attend Thailand Tourism Festival 2019. At around 2:30 PM, we leave our hotel to reach Lumphini Park to attend the opening ceremony of the Thailand Tourism Festival 2019. We did our lunch at the Thai Restaurant (Sawasdee) which was just amazing.
The Lumphini Park was just at a 1-hour distance from the Thai restaurant. So, after having our lunch, we leave for the park. At around, 4:30 PM, we reached the park, the weather was so awesome there. After we reached the park, we took some photographs of the beautiful place to capture the natural beauty. The park was so beautifully decorated because of the Thailand Tourism Festival 2019. Then, we register at the media registration. At around 7:00 PM, we entered the main place of the venue, where the opening ceremony is going to be started. There, we interact with the TAT Governor (Mr. Yuthasak Supasorn) and TAT Deputy Governor (Mr. Tanes Petsuwan). Finally, the opening ceremony started at 8:00 PM, then soon after that all the Thai speakers were addressing the media. At around, 9:30 PM, we leave the Lumphini Park and reached an Indian restaurant (Indian Hut) at around 10:30 PM, where we have some Indian dinner there. Finally, after completing, we leave the restaurant to reach our hotel.

Day 2
We were so tired, that we have a sound sleep at night. I woke up at 5:00 AM in the morning. It was the 24th of January, Thursday. Then, after getting freshen up, I got ready as we have to leave for the Samut Sangkhram at 7:00 AM.
At around, 7:00 AM, we departed for the Samut Songkhram. (Samut Songkhram is a small Thai province on the Gulf of Thailand which is located in the southwest of Thailand. It is a capital city of the province in western Thailand. It is also famous for the floating market of the Amphawa, the Kha, and the Damnoen Sadauk. The small night market near to the railway station is also a very pleasant place to visit in the Samut Songkhram). At around, 9:00 AM we reached Maeklong Railway Market (It is one of the best markets in Thailand as the train runs through the middle of it several times a day. The Maeklong Railway Market has various stalls which display and sells fruits, veggies, meats, seafood, as well as sweet snacks, clothing, and flowers. This is special as the train runs straight down through the middle. Here, a warning bell rings a few minutes before the train comes, then the vendors pull back their specially designed awnings before the train comes and then it again adjusts perfectly encapsulates the train as it rolls through and put the wings back to their original places).

Finally, we leave the Maeklong Railway market, and at around 10:30 AM, we reached the famous floating market, which is named as Damnoen Sadauk Floating Market. (It is one of the most famous floating markets in Bangkok. Here, one can take a lot of photographs. It provides you with various food delicacies along with an insight into a bygone way of life. After we did our shopping at the Damnoen Sadauk Floating Market, we did our lunch at a local restaurant near the floating market).
Then, after completing our lunch, we visit the Ban Bang Phlap Community and do a lot of activities with local people. It is one of the beautiful places to explore in the city where you can find the fruit orchards, and can also visit the local farmer and artisans. Local artisan used to make the musical instruments from the carved coconut shells.
And, then we finally headed back to the Bangkok at around 3:30 PM. At around 5:00 PM, we reached back to our hotel. Get some rest, then at 5:30 PM, we leave for the cruise party. Then, did check in for the dinner cruise (Chaophraya Cruise) at 7:30 PM, till (9:30 PM) we really enjoyed a lot. Chaophraya Cruise is one of the luxurious cruises in Thailand. This was my first cruise experience, and it was so awesome. Finally, we leave for the Hotel.

Day 3
After, a long journey on the second day, I took a long sleep. I woke up at around 7:00 AM. It was 25th January, my last day of the trip. After, getting freshen up, we took our breakfast and check out from the hotel, and keep our luggage in the van.
We depart from the hotel to visit Art in Paradise in Bangkok at around 9:30 PM. (It is a beautiful art gallery in the city which eliminate the art and spectator with three-dimensional paintings that are interactive and laugh-out-loud funny. The artists have brilliantly uses the technique of shading and borders which will create an illusion, that the paintings are smashing through the walls. It contains around 100 individual art pieces in ten themed sections such as optical illusions, wild animals, nature, classic art etc).

After, that we leave Art in paradise, and reached the Icon Siam, which is Thailand’s biggest and fanciest shopping mall which has just opened along the Chao Phraya River. It is also known as the ‘Mother of All malls’, as it contains about 500 shops and 100 restaurants from more than 30 different countries. The mall features, more cool and high-end brands, floating market tailored to visitors, an art gallery, exhibition space, along beautiful riverside locations with views of downtown Bangkok.
After shopping at the Icon Siam, we have our lunch and then we visit Wat Pho (Wat Pho is a Buddhist temple complex in the Phra Nakhon District in Bangkok on Rattanakosin Island which is the first class royal temples. The temple comprises the large collection of the Buddha images along with a 46m long reclining Buddha).

Then, we visit the MBK Center (MBK Center is the largest 8-stories shopping mall in Bangkok which contains around 2,000 shops, restaurants and service outlets along with the 4-story Tokyu department store). at around 5:00 PM. Then, we did some shopping there. And, finally at around, 6:30 PM, we leave for the Don Mueang International Airport, reached at around 8:30 PM. And, we bid adieu to Thailand, band departs by our flight XW306 at 10:35 PM. for New Delhi. And, finally, we reached back to our country at 1:15 AM.
