a new Avatar-inspired land, opened May 2017. The expansion, the largest in Animal Kingdom’s history, features floating mountains, bioluminescent rainforests and a Banshee flying attraction, as well as new after-dark entertainment.
Rivers of Light
an innovative experience unlike anything ever seen in a Disney park, opened February 2017. Happily Ever After
a new nighttime spectacular that combines the magic of Disney storytelling, beloved Disney characters, fireworks and so much more, debuted at Magic Kingdom Park May 2017 More Disney characters than ever before are featured in the show, including moments from “Moana,” “Brave,” “Big Hero 6,” “Zootopia,” “The Princess & The Frog,” “Aladdin” and many others.

Miss Adventure Falls
a new family-style raft attraction at Typhoon Lagoon, opened in spring 2017. The ride takes guests on a splashing journey through the fabled Captain Mary Oceaneer’s past. With a ride time of two minutes, Miss Fortune Falls is among the lengthiest attractions at both Disney water parks.
Star Wars Guided Tour
a new add-on seven-hour VIP experience at Hollywood Studios, includes two stage shows, “Star Wars: A Galaxy Far, Far Away” and “March of the First Order,” as well as the nighttime spectacular, themed dining experiences, character meet-and-greets and more. Regular park admission is required, with tours being an additional ticketed experience.
Universal Orlando Resort
Fast & Furious – Supercharged
will bring guests on a thrilling experience alongside their favorite characters from the franchise as they try to escape danger with exhilarating car chases. This new experience will open at Universal Studios Florida in spring 2018.
Volcano Bay
Universal Orlando’s brand new water theme park, opened May 2017. The water park offers innovative, thrilling attractions like the Ko’kiri Body Plunge, which sends guests down a 70-degree fall through a drop door. This dizzying 125-foot decent ends with a watery tribute from the volcano god, Vol. The park also offers peaceful moments of relaxation, like the Kopiko Wai Winding River, where guests take a slow ride through Volcano Bay’s tropical landscape and beneath the lava rocks, while Stargazer’s Cavern reveals the magical night sky above.
Race Through New York Starring Jimmy Fallon
which opened April 2017 invites guests to join the Tonight Show’s studio audience on the ultimate race through the streets—and skies—of New York City. The new ride at Universal Studios takes guests on a journey from the deepest subway tunnels to the tallest skyscrapers, with colorful characters, famous landmarks and more from the mind of Jimmy Fallon.
SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment
Infinity Falls
a new ride coming to SeaWorld Orlando, is set to debut summer 2018. Thrilling rapids will roar through the brand new rainforest river experience, while adventure-seeking guests plunge down the world’s tallest river rapid drop. Infinity Falls will be the centerpiece of a newly themed surrounding area, fully immersing guests in a rainforest canopy.
Kraken Unleashed
is SeaWorld’s first digitally enhanced ride experience. The legendary ride was transformed into a virtual reality (VR) roller coaster in June 2017. Using new technology, this thrill ride takes guests on a deep sea mission alongside sea creatures inspired by extinct and legendary animals of the past, including the mighty Kraken.
Dolphin Nursery
a popular must-see for all ages, is now more interactive than before. In 2017, the attraction reopened its doors to give guests the opportunity to get up close to mother and baby dolphins in all new ways. Large-scale acrylic windows offer unobstructed viewing, and multiple levels give kids a face-to-face perspective with dolphin calves.
Electric Ocean
a new end-of-day spectacle summer event at SeaWorld, debuted in 2017. As the sun goes down, the lights and energy go up, offering guests a different kind of fun after dark. During this event offered throughout the summer months, the ocean comes to life with bioluminescent lighting, music and pathway entertainment, immersing guests in a glowing sea of wonder.
Aquatica Orlando
will be waving in a new family raft slide in spring 2018. Ray Rush will take guests on three exciting thrills as they slide, splash and soar like never before. The new attraction will replace HooRoo Run, which closed in 2017.
LEGOLAND Florida
The Great Lego Race VR Coaster
is a new thrill ride experience that will replace the existing Project X roller coaster. The story of the redesigned ride features Lego minifigures and includes a rocket-powered surfboard and an espresso-fueled scooter. The reimagined coaster is expected to open later this year.
LEGO® NINJAGO® – Master of the 4th Dimension
started January 2018, at the LEGO® Showplace Theater. The short film combines dazzling 3D computer animation with 4D real-world effects offering guests the chance to go on an amazing new adventure with their favorite ninjas: Kai, Jay, Cole, Zane, Lloyd, Nya and Master Wu.
LEGO NINJAGO World
opened in LEGOLAND Florida Resort in January 2017. The new immersive land is a training ground for future ninjas that includes an interactive ride where guests blast fire, lightning and ice with their hands.
New Orlando Attractions
Andretti Indoor Karting & Games
a new $30 million indoor go-kart attraction located on Universal Boulevard near the convention center, features electronic go-karting, zip lines, bowling, racing simulators, a ‘sky bar,’ rock climbing, laser tag and a full-service restaurant. Andretti opened its doors in fall 2017 and includes 7,000 sq. ft. of meeting space.
Fun Spot America
in Kissimmee debuted Mine Blower, a new wooden coaster, in summer 2017. The $6 million new ride is 82 feet tall, and runs nearly 50 mph. The lead car is adorned with large sticks of dynamite, and the train enters darkened tunnels themed as mine shafts. Mine Blower includes a barrel roll inversion, a rare element for a wooden coaster.
iFLY Indoor Skydiving
opened in a new facility next to WonderWorks on International Drive in May 2017. Equipped with two all-glass wind tunnels in an open single-story floor plan, the facility is conveniently located where I-Drive passersby can see tourists in action. The new location replaced the original further north on I-Drive.
Main Event Entertainment Orlando
opened in Pointe Orlando in 2017. The 45,000 square-foot (4181 square-meter) dining and entertainment complex offers everything from American fare and handcrafted cocktails, to more than 100 virtual and interactive games, state-of-the-art bowling and the first free roam multi-player virtual reality game in the U.S.
Nona Adventure Park
a new water-sports park featuring an inflatable, floating obstacle course and wakeboarders pulled along by cable, is scheduled to open summer 2018 in Lake Nona. Visitors will be able to buy passes for the whole park or for individual attractions.

Topgolf Entertainment Group
is one of the top golfing entertainment complexes in the world. The brand new Orlando facility opened in fall 2017. The 65,000-square-foot venue includes 230 high-definition flat-screen TVs, 102 climate-controlled hitting bays that can host up to six players at one time, and advanced technology to track the accuracy and distance of players’ shots.

The Holy Land Experience
re-creates the ancient world of the Bible through landscape and architecture and features amazing live dramas throughout the day in the 2,000-seat Church of All Nations. I-Drive NASCAR

K1 Speed
is a revolution in indoor karting, with its European-styled racing and professionally designed race tracks, with emission-free electric karts that reach speeds of 45 mph. The Orlando location racing tracks feature a challenging combination of long straight-always and hairpin turns, providing racers with a variety of opportunities to test their fortitude.
Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex
lets guests get nose-to-nose with a historic spacecraft in the $100-million Space Shuttle Atlantis attraction. Showcase of Citrus
offers visitors the opportunity to pick up to 60 seasonal varieties right off the tree at a “u-pick citrus grove.” Other activities include visiting the “Old Time Country Farm Store,” eco-safari tours of 2,500 acres (1,012 hectares) on a 4×4 monster truck and a free self-guided waterfront walking tour through the grounds, playground and picnic areas, as well as local, hand-crafted juices, jams, sauces and unique treats.
SKELETONS: Museum of Osteology
exhibits over 400 skeletons in clever never-before-seen poses and dioramas, gifting visitors a whole new respect for the animal kingdom.
Splitsville Luxury Lanes
is a two-story, 50,000-square-foot (4,645-square-meter) upscale entertainment center. Located in Disney Springs, Splitsville combines bowling with billiards, dining, music and nightlife.

introduces visitors to the world’s first totally mechanized team sport of WhirlyBall, which is a combination of bumper cars, lacrosse and basketball. The facility is also home to Bloodhound Brew, which has a wide variety of craft beer and tasty food options. Additionally, WhirlyDome has a laser tag arena, formula one race car simulator, bowling and arcade games.
Wild Florida
an airboat and wildlife park, sends guests into the protected swamps, marshes and rivers of the Florida Everglades. The airboat ride gives guests an in-depth look at gators, birds, eagles, cows, trees and plants as they glide through 100,000 acres of federally protected wetlands. Guests can get up close with more than 200 animals at the Gator and Wildlife Park.
WonderWorks
Orlando’s only upside-down attraction, feature more than 100 hands-on interactive exhibits. Guests can experience a three-story ropes challenge, design and ride their own roller coaster or watch a magic/comedy dinner show.
ZERO-G Experience
provides a unique opportunity to experience true weightlessness. On the specially modified Boeing 727, parabolic arcs are performed to create a weightless environment allowing guests to float, flip and soar as if they were in space. Flights depart from Cape Canaveral on select dates.
Zombie Outbreak
is a live action zombie experience that sends teams to clear a military base full of walking dead. In this totally immersive experience, guests use real-life replicas of weapons to shoot zombies wearing cutting-edge targets.
